1. Information Collected
1.1 Information You Provide
- Email address (for license generation and communication)
1.2 Device Identifier for Licensing and Demo Control
The Application generates a unique device identifier for license binding and demo usage tracking.
- The identifier is created locally by combining hardware information (such as motherboard ID and CPU ID).
- This combined value is processed using a one-way cryptographic hash function.
- Only the resulting hashed identifier is transmitted and stored.
- The original hardware identifiers (motherboard ID and CPU ID) are not stored by the Developer.
The hashed identifier is used solely for:
- License activation and validation
- Preventing license abuse
- Managing demo usage limits
The hashed identifier cannot be reversed to reveal the original hardware information.
1.3 Demo Mode Information

No advertising tracking, behavioral profiling, or third-party analytics systems are used within the Application.
2. Image Processing and AI Services
Easy Tagger analyzes images by transmitting them directly to third-party AI service providers selected by the user.
The Application integrates APIs provided by:
- OpenAI
- Google (Gemini)
Important:
- Images are not stored by the Developer.
- Images are transmitted directly to the selected AI provider for analysis.
- Tagging results are returned locally to the user.
AI Training and Data Usage
Data handling depends on the API tier selected by the user:
- If a free-tier API key is used, image data may be processed and potentially used for model improvement according to the provider’s terms.
- If a paid-tier API key is used, data handling and retention policies are governed by the applicable commercial terms of the AI provider.
Users are responsible for reviewing the privacy and data usage terms of the selected AI provider.
3. Legal Basis for Processing (EEA Users)
For users located in the European Economic Area (EEA), personal data is processed under:
- Performance of a contract (providing license activation and tagging functionality)
- Legitimate interest (preventing license abuse and managing demo limitations)
4. Data Retention
- Email addresses are retained as long as necessary to maintain valid license records and provide support.
- Hashed device identifiers are retained for license validation and abuse-prevention purposes.
- Demo-related data may be retained for statistical and technical monitoring purposes.
- The Developer does not store images submitted for tagging.
Users may request deletion of their personal data at any time by contacting the Developer.
5. International Data Transfers
AI processing may occur on servers located outside Serbia or the European Union, including the United States.
By using the Application, you acknowledge that your data may be transferred internationally in accordance with the selected AI provider’s data processing practices.
6. Data Sharing
The Developer does not sell, rent, or trade personal data.
Personal data is shared only with:
- AI service providers selected by the user (for image analysis)
- Hosting or technical service providers necessary to operate the website and license system
7. Security
Reasonable technical and organizational measures are implemented to protect personal data against unauthorized access, misuse, or disclosure.
